This prestigious brand, which was acquired as an industrial company in 1989, vaunts the country's oldest tradition in the field of tanning. Its commenced operating in 1834 and has made every effort, since the beginning, to improve its products, constantly innovating its manufacturing processes. Today it is a well-known trade mark in the field of leather for car interiors, and is expanding constantly. The manufacturing activities are effectuated by the CALBE Division which has, as part of its industrial and commercial expansion, taken over the productive activities of the BRUSAROSCO Division. Its products are purchased by established car manufacturers as Rover, Opel, General Motors and Volvo. In addition to the car sector, it also supplies leather for the interiors of ships and planes.
